Bishop Allen

If by visiting this article you are discovering Bishop Allen, then you will forever be thankful for this site. When I first heard Bishop Allen, I was riding shotgun in my friend Clay’s car. I found myself toe-tapping and head bobbing and instantly loving the sound. It’s not always that way. Sometimes even your favorite bands are an acquired taste, whereas for me, Bishop Allen was love at first listen. Their sound is clean with mellow vocals and simple guitar riffs that blend together in a recipe of what makes music listeners music lovers.
Bishop Allen calls Brooklyn their hometown, yet really the band formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The band is comprised of the core duo Jusin Rice and Christian Rudder, who attended Harvard University together. In fact, the name of the band comes from Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge (sorry, they are not men of the cloth).
